Wat Khao Angkhan is located in Chaloem Phra Kiat District. The temple was built when the Khmer era was at its peak, the same era as Prasat Phanom Rung Historical Park. The structures in the temple are mostly rebuilt to replace the old ones. Located on the top of Khao Angkhan, the magnificent temple consists of the main hall, pavilion, and other structures that imitate the architecture of different eras. There is a mural in the main hall depicting the tales of the Lord Buddha in English.
