Wat Arun or commonly known as the Temple of Dawn, is one of the royal temples and oldest temples dating back to the Ayutthaya era. The temple stands out due to its magnificent stupa decorated by bits of porcelain that were used as ballast by boats coming from China. Wat Arun is one of the most remarkable visual identities of Bangkok.
